The fungal toxins Deoxynivalenol (DON, also called vomitoxin), T2/HT2 and Fumonisin are harmful substances with a negative impact on herd productivity. The active substance (1m01) in Suplex ProTec is the only one registered in the EU as being effective against trichothecenes such as DON and T2/HT2.

The symptoms of Deoxynivalenol, T2/HT2 and Fumonisin stress are impaired productivity, poor growth and feed utilization, food refusal and reduced reproduction.

Suplex ProTec can be added with 0.2-0.4% of the feed. Suplex ProTec can also be added to the mineral feed to ensure a constant and correct allocation.
