Castration bench Quick Fix
The Quick Fix Ergonomic castration fixture has been developed to make the work process easier and faster for the farmer and the fixation of the pig more gentle than is the case with the fixtures that can otherwise be found on the market.
The castration fixture is designed so that there is no unnecessary pressure on the abdominal region, in an attempt to avoid provoking an umbilical hernia.
The geometry of the castration fixture means that the pig does not lie directly on the spine. Instead, it is supported around the back and on the sides. This means that it cannot roll around in the fixture so easily, both while it is inserted, removed and when the fixture is closed.
The product has been pre-developed in collaboration with SEGES and the Center for Outdoor Animals.
